This is a recipe that was shared by Michelle Homewood. I know a few who say that dogs are obligate carnivores. This is by far a complete myth. Dog's, when they have access to them, actually enjoy a large number of vegetables. My dear old grandma always had dogs around. She wasn't much for keeping cats because the cats would kill her chickens. I remember one dog in particular though. This one was a dog who loved his chicken eggs, To break him of his egg-sucking activities she cracked off the tip end of the egg, filled it full of hot red pepper powder, sealed it with a bit of white paper and placed it so that he would find it. Not only did he happily lap up the spiced egg, but he went looking for more. What that has to do with this recipe is simply NOTHING. but it was a cute story that I remembered watching unfold and reach it's finally.

1/2 cup water or veggie stock (salt-free or low sodium)
2 carrots, diced
2 celery stalks, diced
1/ medium-sized zucchini
2 tsp wheat germ
2 Tbsp peanut butter

Place stock, diced carrots, and zucchini in a blender, and blend at medium speed for one minute.

Add the celery, wheat germ, and peanut butter, and blend for one more minute.

Transfer to a large pot and warm.
